Deleting music from this site feels so good
I will never forget.
The old UI, the General forum, shockwave flash actually working in browser...it's all gone. I will never forget. Newgrounds is so...empty.

You do have a point, I'd love to treat reviews as just feedback, but if my goal is to become #1 with reviews it feels like such a waste to review something that's likely to disappear if I can review something that's likely not to instead. Time's too limited. It'd be like buying property right before the market's about to crash, or investing in a company you know might go bankrupt, y'know?
I'm more a proponent of the 'make everything last as long as possible' approach. Even NG probably won't last forever but I do hope it'll last my lifetime, at least. That it somehow be preserved for all eternity would be ideal. And who knows, maybe the Internet Archive can make that a reality if it doesn't manage by other means.

Well you don't really lose money/hard work to review something that gets deleted. Investing in a company that you know might go bankrupt does involve you losing money and progress.
Time's money though. I wish the world turned with a different kind of currency, but the only way to really get somewhere is to use your time wisely; invest it in prospects that somehow further you, or at least reward you.
I admit I'm doing a pretty bad job with these priorities but still, there's only so much time in a day, and though I'd love to just review everything it's not that gratifying when you jump into NG Logs and see your count suddenly dropped a hundred or so in a day; thus you start to be selective. The ideal life would have me in a position where I have so much time or money to spare I just don't care, but not really there yet. Just ten thousand reviews left to the top...
Long post but TLDR: it's just depressing to see people continually delete their old shizzle. Reviewing aside I'm just really a preservationist.
Well be assured that at this point I've finally made up my mind and won't delete anything I post anymore cause I'll just post things I wouldn't delete. If anything I post from here on out gets deleted, it's not my doing.

Album plan sounds entertaining, name change sounds good, though all this constant deletion... man this is why I shy away from reviewing some people's work. When there's the notion it just won't last anyway.

Well I mean you should still review because that way they know how you felt before they removed it.
